(how i've made use of my free will)
in a nutshell,
in a nutshell,

I'm fascinated by interaction. (basic, but true)
I love being the person who starts a game night after dinner and keeps everyone competitive and engaged until 3am. I love introducing two people from separate circles to see if my assessment of their compatibility is accurate. I love people-watching and seeing how people go about the same motions with their unique touch. I love immersing myself in the time capsules of interaction, the movies, the shows, the jokes, and the cultures that serve as reminders of how we've interacted with one another throughout time.
Connection is the cornerstone of my work as a designer and researcher. Growing up as a military kid, I relied on my ability to build community from scratch; now, I absolutely live for the joy that's created between people when they learn to truly see each other and, consequently, feel seen. Now, I chase this thrill through user research and human-centered product design.
When I'm not working, you'll find me obsessing over sitcoms (let's start with Community, Parks & Rec, New Girl, and Apartment 23), rambling about SNL, people-watching, chasing sunsets, listening to music too loudly, being the worst cinephile ever, or gushing over my family!
